Considerably more upmarket than most other offerings in the area, the Kitchen at Holmes is a real lunchtime treat. The lunchtime set menu represents good value considering the prices on the standard menu, and provides you with a choice of main course with a dessert and coffee for £27.50 per person. The ambience and decor was absolutely delightful, and the service was superb - attentive and worthy of a 5 star review!! I had the Holmes burger, which was huge!! The bacon was super crispy and perfectly cooked, as was the patty itself, and served in a light brioche bun. I simply couldn't fault it. The fries had skin on, and were also perfectly cooked. I had the affrogato for dessert, which was light and decadent and complimented the lovely main course. Everyone I ate with was suitably delighted with their meal. I'm already looking forward to going back!!

I was really happy with my time there. The service was great. The food was overall very pleasant. We ordered three mains and two sides among us to share and I thought that was a really good idea. The grill octopus was excellent -very tender -reminded me of Sicily and the quality of the octopus was topnotch. The vegetables that went with it weren't the best match but ok. The red mullet, cuttle fish and mussles dish was really good too. Fish cooked to perfection, cuttle fish perfectly done. A flavourful dish Sea bream was huge which was great but I would prefer it less cooked. Had a raspberry and mango sorbet which were really good too. Note that there was no gluten free pasta available. Fabulous experience and will definitely come again.

Had an amazing dinner at The Kitchen at Holmes! The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, with a really inviting vibe. We tried the truffle ravioli and the shakshuka - both were incredible. You can tell they care about quality ingredients and presentation. Cocktails were also on point - creative and well-balanced. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It feels like a bit of a hidden gem right on Baker Street. Would 100% come back!
